Only two orthopedic group practices in Virginia have earned AAAHC accreditation and we are proud to be one of them.

Accreditation is awarded to organizations with outpatient surgical centers that adhere to rigorous standards of care and safety. The accreditation process includes an extensive onsite survey by team of experts — composed of physicians, nurses, and administrators — of our surgical center and office. In addition to the survey, ongoing compliance, self-evaluation, and continuous improvements over the span of three years are included in the process.

We would not have received this accreditation without the tremendous efforts of Director of Surgical Services Kimberly Parker, the surgical center healthcare team, and the entire Blue Ridge Orthopaedic & Spine Center staff.
